About

I work as a Security Administrator focused on Application Security, mainly around SAST/DAST scanning and maintaining AppSec tooling within the secure development lifecycle. By day, I deal with real systems, real constraints - not theory.

Outside of work, I’m deeply interested in how people actually learn complex skills, especially languages.

I speak Slovak, Czech, English, Spanish and I’m currently learning Russian and Vietnamese. This blog documents that process honestly - including what works, what fails and what feels much harder than expected.

I don’t believe in shortcuts, miracle methods or “learn X in 30 days.” I believe in systems that survive bad days, consistency over motivation and adapting methods to the language - not forcing the same approach everywhere.

You’ll find two kinds of content here:

Cybersecurity posts — walkthroughs, tooling and practical learning

Language learning posts — real experiences, struggles and experiments from A1 to advanced levels

This isn’t a teaching platform or a polished course. It’s a living log of learning - written primarily for myself, but shared publicly in case it helps someone else feel less stuck.

If you’re learning a language and struggling or you’ve had an experience that contradicts the “standard advice,” feel free to reach out . I’m always interested in comparing notes.
